I surfed at the backyard, reconnected with old friends, and even pulled off the skeleton dance on my 6'0 asym wing @nogglesboard shaped last year as a project for GnarsDAO ๐ฆ

9 years ago, one of the world's greatest environmental disasters occurred in a place rich in history and biodiversity. The collapse of the Mariana dam reached the Espรญrito Santo Regรชncia, the place where I learned to surf and spent my childhood, an environmental reserve under strict control. The mouth of the โDoce Riverโ received around 60 million cubic meters of toxic mud. To this day, we are living with this drama, this socio-environmental impact that is so damaging to our village. ๐

Regencia is a place that became famous for amazing waves and for being the scene of one of the biggest environmental catastrophes, if not the biggest, in the history of the planet, with the dumping of 40 million cubic meters of toxic mud waste with the rupture of the dam.
Being able to help this community with the help of the Rebio team, biologists, oceanographers, agroforestry professionals and the local community was incredible. Thank you gnarsdao and everyone involved ๐ธ

Regencia is a place that became famous for amazing waves and for being the scene of one of the biggest environmental catastrophes, if not the biggest, in the history of the planet, with the dumping of 40 million cubic meters of toxic mud waste with the rupture of the dam.
Being able to help this community with the help of the Rebio team, biologists, oceanographers, agroforestry professionals and the local community was incredible. Thank you gnarsdao and everyone involved ๐ธ

The activation of the โTrilha Da Mariquinhaโ through reforestation and graffiti painting on the wall of the area ๐ณ
Regencia is a place that became famous for amazing waves and for being the scene of one of the biggest environmental catastrophes, if not the biggest, in the history of the planet, with the dumping of 40 million cubic meters of toxic mud waste with the rupture of the dam.
Being able to help this community with the help of the Rebio team, biologists, oceanographers, agroforestry professionals and the local community was incredible. Thank you gnarsdao and everyone involved ๐ธ
